I love FITB fics and, for me, this particular moment on the show left a wealth of unanswered questions. Where did Buffy and Angel meet? What did they do? How long was she gone? Why did she describe it as “intense?” I tried to address all of those unknowns in turn, as well as foreshadow and explore how she ended up falling into her affair with Spike.
